RBTA met my fluval fx5 inlet

so yea, i woke up this morning and noticed that one of my rbta was missing, i eventually found it near a rock next to my inlet on my fluval fx5... Long story short it took all the tentacles except 3, the base seem to not have been damaged, but is there anything i can do to aid in its recovery? And will it be okay?

Feed the anemone to help it recover. As long as you maintain good water quality, your anemone should recover just fine.

I bet yours isn't as damaged as one of mine was...

Six days later:

It eventually recovered completely.

Same thing happened to me last night. (BTA met the FX5) My hobbyist shop suggested an inlet sponge to prevent this in the future.

1) How long did the BTA take to recover?
2) Did it eat during the recovery period?
3) If yes, how often was it eating?
4) Any preventative measures to prevent this incident in the future? ie. inlet sponge (has it worked?)
