RBTA not used to high light?

Hey guys, i bought a relatively small RBTA 3 days ago. It was sitting on the shop's tank with very little light (just a old blue t5 tube hung 20" high up which can barely lit the tank) this RBTA was in the tank for at least 2 weeks before i bought it back.

I placed it in a relatively high light mid flow area but it crawled under the rocks and right now decided to stay below a rock creek where by it will receive just a little light through the rock holes. Heres a pic :

So i've been feeding it mysis shrimp and will do so for 3 times a week since i assume i have to feed it more often cause its not receiving much light. my question is that is this an indication that the RBTA is unhealthy/sick or it just means that its trying to adjust itself to the light and will move out once it feels like?

Thanks.

Yes, an RBTA I had instantly moved and hid under a ledge when I got it.

It slowly started to come out and has moved almost all over the tank.

It has finally decided on a spot (this month) and it might stay... (HAHAHA Here is to hoping)

The reduction in feeding will cause it to slowly come out into the light some. It might be getting enough from reflection also, along with what it captures in the water column.

I was feeding mine every three days but reduced it to once a week.

I started my RBTA at the bottom and let it find its spot by itself. Now it is at the top maybe 3" from the top and 8" from the LED fixture. Seems happy as can be.

I wouldn't worry to much as these are tough little buggers. Just keep your parameters in line and you should be good to go. You wouldn't know it but it once upon a time was real beat up after getting into a tussle with a powerhead.
