RBTA Q's

I have 4 BTA's in my tank. I used to have 1. I'm trying to find out the best way to take at least three of them, if not all four out of my reef. I don't want to kill them and I would give them away.
It's not that I got bored with them but two are starting to get to big and I know the others will follow.

if you can get to the foot an ice cube does pretty good. Either that if it is on a rock hold the rock out of the water a little & it will let go after a few minutes. If it is against the glass a credit card works well. go slow & be gentle.

On the ice; how long from contact till reaction? I'll look for the base today. Thanks.

erendon I know your pain. I went through this about a year ago. As much as it sucked, I ended up selling the rocks that they were on. I attempted to remove one of them, and that didn't work out well at all.

If possible, at least try to move the rock around, I did get one to move that way, and was lucky enough to be around when it started to move.

Hello,
May be worthwhile to see if anyone from your local reef club has experience removing them and would be willing to come by. I have been pleasantly surprised by the lengths SW folks will go to help each other out.

Matt
