RBTA question

I just got a new RBTA from a local reefer. He recently had his split. It attached to the rock where I put it and reinflated. The color looks really good except that at the base of the tentacles it's a very light gray color - not a color that's usually good on any kind of aquarium creature. But as mentioned, the tentacles themselves are quite bright, and as far as I can tell the animal acts the way I would expect (inflates and spreads out when the halides click on, shrinks up at night, etc). Is the coloring something to worry about?

A picture would help, but my first guess is that it sounds absolutely fine. As long as the light gray color does not start to spread, like all along the tentacles, which could then be a symptom of the zooxanthellae being expelled.... then I wouldn't worry. Good luck!
