RBTA Spilt&Split&Split

I added a RBTA to my tank about 5 mos. ago. It has since spilt three times. I now have 4 beautiful RBTA's. I feed them silver sides and they all eat well. I have noticed that the color on the newer ones is lighter and more toward the orange side. I just wondered, will they just keep splitting? Also i have 1 maroon clown that bounces around from one to the other. Can i add another clown or does the maroon have dibs on all 4?...Thanks

my has done the same thing.. they split when they are both happy and or stressed... you may be able to add another clown but you will have to move an rbta to the other side of the tank or the clowns may fight or the new clown will not host.

RBTA - will just keep splitting

One thing about maroon clown is they are one of the more aggressive clowns. Mine would draw blood if I got near my BTA

Speaking of RBTAs-

Lee, you should not add another clown. The maroon will kill it. Your only option and even this is iffy, is to find the smallest maroon you can and hope the female you have will accept it as a mate.

I gave you the never-ending RBTA, that just loves to give. The gift that keeps on giving. :lol: Hope you still like it. Since I sold you that one, mine's split 4 times as well. Doh!
