Anemones that split constantly are distressed,it's a survival instinct.

Has yours hosted any clowns?

Yes my female clown goes back and forth between the anemone and a rock of green fuzzy mushrooms. They lay eggs just about every two weeks, but always on the rock where the mushrooms are. This is her clutch of eggs from today.
