RBTA swollen, white, puffy mouth

I'll try to get a pic later, but my RBTA split about a month ago, and now one of the anemones has a swollen mouth. Is there a reason for this? Has it just not fully developed yet? It acts healthy (expands and contracts every day, and it has never moved since splitting). I will say that I never target feed them, and the tips never "bubble". But, they grow and seem healthy.

If you can post a picture we might be able to help you, I have a web site with pics of swollen mouth in btas, usually a sign of hunger.

Here's a photo. Sorry about the size, photobucket is being difficult.

Edit: maybe this one is better

Thanks. I have a hard time feeding them. I used to try to feed silversides, but they just drop them in the sand. They don't eat my homemade fish food either. I'll try to feed them silversides again though.

Try a smaller piece and see if it will take that. Have you tried a cube of thawed formula one?
They like that also and it's good for them.

I haven't tried formula one. Nice website BTW. I remember reading a lot of it over a year ago but haven't seen it since.

Great. Feed again on monday and he will take it.
Anytime there mouths are puffy like that they are wanting food.
Did you see the pics on my site?
