RBTA Trouble!!!

Hi everyone. I just got a RBTA and acclimated it and all was going swell. So I put it in my tank and because of the flow it slipped out of my fingers!!! I am a complete moron. Then the flow caught it and it got it in the back of the tank:headwalls::headwalls::headwalls: I cleaned most of the back glass to see if I can get a reflection...nothing. I did not clean only one spot which I cannot access without knocking everything down. I suspect that it's in that exact spot. My damsel keeps on hanging out there so that is probably another clue that it is there but I cannot see anything. I can't take out that one rock either because everything is just going to collapse. The RBTA is only 1 inch big. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?

I am so mad. My day was going so good, now this:thumbdown

Just leave it alone and give it time. I doubt you seriously injured it. It'll move when it needs light, flow, etc.

Hahaha that's pretty funny, but you're fine.
Don't stress too much, the nem will come out once it's acclimated, it'll realize it needs light.

Correct, i would only worry if you dont see after a while as it should move to recieve more light. If it doesnt, then you might have to move some rocks to get it out in the open....

My GBTA was under a rock for 3 weeks.. now he/she is out in full glory but likes to go under the rock at night.. but that was a long 3 weeks

These pics are 6 or so months apart but... the nems are still there. One is right after halides turn off and the other is right before the lights cut off completely for the night. Every night they go into the rockwork.

I have a long tentacle anemone that I placed in a nice spot rigt in front of my tank. Apparently it didn't like that spot so it released and ended up in the very back of my tank and attached itself to a rock where it would receive no light. I was unable to get back there without removing a bunch of rock so I let it be thinking it would eventually move to a more suitable spot. Well it took 2 months but I got up one morning and it finally released itself and ended up back in the front close to where I put it originally. It took quite a while but it finally got its color back and has been in the same spot for the last 8 months.
