RBTA Trouble

I came home today and saw that my RBTA moved to a little crevice underneath a huge rock. It doesn't get any light, and it doesn't look all that great or healthy right now. Should I move him myself, or will he move on his own?

The Anemone will move on its own, the not looking good can be changing its water!

Well need a pic to see exactly what the problem is..

I've had it for about a year, but I just moved it into a 150 gallon about 2 months ago. It's shriveled in a little dark crevice. Hopefully I can get a pic tonight.

If it was just moved, it is trying to find a place it likes. It will probably move around somewhere else tonight. If you move it, it will just move again until it likes its new place. Give it some time.

Thanks for all the replies. I came home today and it was at its new place. I forgot to turn off the powerheads; I'm glad it didn't get sucked in. Also, how do I get my clownfish to host in the anemone? They've been in w/ the anemone for over 2 months, and they still haven't come near it.

Eh... my BTA refuses to come out from behind the rocks. Just leans out ever so slightly to capture light then back again... has been that way for 8 months now.

I do belive that light can be a huge motivating factor in their (re)location

Mine didn't use an anemone for over a year.Only when I moved and everything was thrown in the tank overnight before setting it back up did the clowns seem to find it..it was kind of like they never knew it was there and it's only a 24" tank.

Maybe if you rearrange things?

I heard that if you put a toy clown in or by an anemone, the other clowns are going to see it and get jealous and territorial...they'll take over and begin to host the anemone. But that's just what I heard. If I ever have that problem, that's what I'm going to try.
