RBTA turned brown

I bought a RBTA in July for my Red Sea Max. After placement in the tank, it did very well. Settled in a rock crevice about 12 in from the lights. It hosted my tomato clown pair and opened up to about 6 in. diameter. I fed it 1/2 a silverside or krill every other days. No problems. Then all of a sudden, in October, half of the anemone failed to expand, the other half still looked normal. It then left the crevice where it had been for 4 months and moved under a ledge in almost full shadow. It has remained there since. All of its tetacles have shrunken to little tiny nubs and all red coloration is gone. It will not eat. My tomato clown still come to it, but the anemone remains unchanged. I have rotated the rock that it is attached to to get it back into the light but in just crawls back into the shadow. It will not take food that is put into its mouth. All parameters for water are normal (no ammonia, no nitrates, etc.). No others changes in the tank. The other BTA in the tank is doing fine.

Will my RBTA recover?
Any thoughts on what went wrong?

You would be feeding a bit heavy for my likeing but sounds stressed poss from the clown. But water changes and carbon have worked to perk them back up for me, keep an eye on the clown if it too rough 1 on the 2 need to be seperated for the time being
