Yes...looks 10x better than your first photo. Keep water quality up and target feeding I'd say...every other day will bring that little guy back to full health!
And I'm certainly interested to see it's full color...I like the last photo you posted...interesting as it appears purple with green tips!
M. Woodhill that is a beauty. Mine is slowly getting better, the stem or the foot is getting alittle more color everyday, still shows some new growth. Now if the little guy could just find him a happy spot. Seems to have to move about every two weeks.
I have really noticed A LOT of growth in the last 3 months; I think this is because of three things. 1. A bulb upgrades on my MH 250 from some cheap pulsrites to 15k XM bulbs. 2. It quite moving and found its "œhappy spot" 3. I've been trying really hard since the first of the year to not only dial in water parameters, but maintain them at a constant level with minimal fluctuation. One other interesting point, in the last two months I've cut WAY back on feeding this guy to only once or twice a month and it just keeps growing and looking better! Anyway here are some updated pics:fun4:
Wow that is quite a transformation from day 1. Hard to believe that is the same nem. Nice job! By keeping water parameters stable do you mean just keeping water clean or are you having to dose anything to maintain calcium, alk and mag?
greech, I have been using BRS two part for cal, alk, and mag. Also be watching my po4 closely and started running GFO about 2 months ago. Been changing 20% every to weeks to combat nitrates. Also added a filter sock to the system the same time I started running GFO to polish the water better. I’ve had really good results.
I'm currently wondering what mine is going to turn out like. The parent of my clone has been purple with green tips for a couple of years. Mine looked like this when I received it:
and looks like this as of today, having lightened considerably under my LEDs
