RBTA won't sit still

So what do you guys do if a rbta won't sit where you want it to be. Is there a solution for this? I know someone who has a rbta that just won't sit still in a spot. He made a nice hole for the rbta to sit in and it would stay for a day and next it would be gone. So any ideas why its doing this? And any solutions to how to keep it still?

Are the water parameters all in check? Also, does he have good random flow and proper lighting? Mine seem to be happiest when the foot is lodged under an overhang and then the anemone come out and up, making sort of a "J" shape of the column.

Incorrect water parameters are often the cause of undesirable movement of anemonies. Either that or there isn't the proper amount of flow or it doesn't like the light (it is either getting too little light or too much light and needs to adjust).

Mine likes to be under moderate lighting (96 watt) where it gets medium and random flow coming straight at it from different directions. They all look really really really healthy and nice after they are fed big chunks of food too. Mine swells up so much when its fed.

When I was just buying and posted threads about it, someone said that they can be taught to stay where they are if you place it there and feed it whenever you place it there. Then it will eventually get used to it.

Hope this was of help to you.
