I am confuse here. I seen a Rose anemone and was told it was a RBTA.

But why does he look different from my other BTA? there are bulbs and the rose is not?

sometimes they bubble and sometimes they don't. I had a huge RBTA in my 180 that never had bubble tips

Why are they considered RBTA when they look like long tentacle anemone? I am confused here. Is it still the same class?

Yes they are the same. The "bubbling" is a reaction to something in the environment. Some say stress, some say good health, I have heard it all.
I feel it is just genetics that makes one RBTA more prone to bubble than another. I have had an RBTA that is big and healthy and has not moved since the day it settled in, so I know it is happy. It has NEVER bubbled. I actually like
the long tentacled look over the bubble look anyway. lol:rollface:

Just so you know I have heard the stress/happiness thing over cloning also. The guy I got mine from raises only RBTA's. He told me it should split from time to time if it's happy, so that's what I am going with on that subject also.
Sure enough after 9 months it had two distinct mouths. (still waiting on the split). I feel if this were a survival reaction the RBTA would also be on the move trying to find more favorable conditions.
