Why is my RBTA keep moving away from the light...It was ok for the first week then keeps moving away. I move him on top of a rock then he got under and in a cave..*** my maron clown keeps following him to the cave. Is there a way to get him to stay still? I hadhim for 2 month now move him about 3 times..Maybe use a holding tank or breeder tank to get him to stay still? Any one got a solution?

They will move if there is too much flow or anything else they dont like. They also like areas where they can wedge there feet in (as in crevices). perhaps you can change the flow in your tank as in moving the directions of powerheads. Once it finds a spot it likes it will stay there.

RBTA are not plants they will move and it wont always be where you want it to. The more you continue to handle it the less likely it will find a location it likes. Let it be and it will find a suitable location that meets its needs. Just make sure the light, water and water movement is good and let it be. The less hands in the water the better.

Larry, amazing tank, are those all from one parent RBTA?

I bought the tank from a guy back in oct of 08, there where 9 RBTA at that time. He said he started with one. So i guess the answer is yes. Its getting difficult to count them, I'm guessing i have at least 50 now. All from one parent is amazing and Ive never manually split one. I'm not bragging I kind of wish they would stop, I'm running out of places for them to go.
