I recently upgraded my tank from a 150 to a 210
And my forests of rbta haven't been looking so good. They all went shrivel up and started looking like this

They used to look like this

My water parameters
Alk 9.5
Cal 450
Mag 1400
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0.07
Temp 79
Ph 8.1
Only difference right now is I have no fish in tank as I am letting it go fallow for 12 weeks.

These parameters are better than my old tank cause the old tank was dirty and I never dosed. Currently tank has no inhabitants but cuc since all the fishes are in a qt and finishing up my 12 week fallow period.

OK.. New rock Old rock??

What are the parameters??

Light(type, Frequency, and %)
rock (new/old)
Cycle time?

I wont ask about the other parameters... You have a 150 so you know what is up.

The reason I asked that is a cycling rock puts off all sorts of stuff that really irritates anemones. We all see our levels but coming off the rock, and getting diluted, is another story.

So that is why I ask. Not to make you take offense or anything.

Any FTS yet??

Did you change anything else?

Yeah the rocks are Marco rocks maybe that's why. It's been cycled for awhile thou so not sure.

The only difference from the 150 to 210 are that the 150 was dirtier parameters rise than the new 210. The 210 had more in line parameters to corals. I hardly changed water in my 150 for years.

Your anemones were used to the "dirty" water. When you switched tanks your rbta's were shocked by the change to "clean" water.

By any chance are you dosing hydrogen peroxide?

I would throw in a PolyFilter. Comes in a sealed bag. It will pull out all kinds of bad stuff. Heavy metals, medication and sometimes "unknown contaminants". I know anemones are iffy with some addidtives. Polyfilter doesnt remove trace minerals either. I would throw one in your sump and see if it perks up. I saw a few athreads mentioning higher doses of nopox may cause droopy deflated btas.
