Hi, what is the best placement for it. It's on the sand close to a rock, but it hasn't attached to the rock for a week, this morning it seemed that it was juts trying to float around. It's been open and looking good, just not attaching, I saw part of the foot attached to the rock but it let go.

I'm just concern about moving around, it seems that it wants to move to the right and there is a 6" gigas clam will it be ok?

BTA prefer to have their feet inside small caves in the rock or in the crack where 2 rocks come together. One of the problems with adding an anemone s that it will choose where to live. You may have to move the clam.

I'll be following this.

I had an anemone that did that a couple of years back. Finally it just got stuck in the back dark corner of the tank and didn't open anymore. I ended up removing it even though it wasn't technically 'dead'.

I'd be interested to see how it goes with yours. If you can get it to eat maybe that will help? Also, try cutting a piece of 1.5" pvc and sticking his foot in it, he might just attach:)

Well this morning the anemone is completely gone!! no where to be found??? I looked everywhere. I saw it last night going up the rocks and I guess it let go. I can see a little on the back of the tank but nothing. I have a lot of rock so moving it's going to be difficult and I don't want to strees the corals and fish. My question is will it move tours the light?? there is no trace of it.

Don't move any rocks. Its in the rocks and it retracted. By moving the rocks you might accidentally rip it or smash it. Wait for a little bit.

Yeah there is no way I can move the rocks I have clams and sps's on top and they are big rocks, I wish if I can only see where it is.

Check your powerheads or anything that sucks in water just to make sure your anemone didn't get caught in there just to be safe.

found it!! it travel from the back of the tank all the way to the top of the rock very nice place too I hope it doesn't go any higher because I have a large acro colony there.
