Will a RBTA host a Tomato clown?

I know it's sometimes hit or miss with any of them....but if I get one is there a good chance it will host them?

Also, is there any difference between a rose and a regular besides color?

This will be my first purchased nem in 8 years since I started up again. Tank has been running over a year and without losses. I figure I am ready...well I hope

No difference...all btas are entacmaea quadricolors. I believe tomatoes naturally host btas, but I'm not sure.

They do! Almost 100% chance they will take to a RBTA.

Cool I just read they are a natural host for them in the wild too. Yay. Just got one and it's sooooo pretty under the t5s! I almost got a normal BTA but I am so glad I payed just a bit more for the Rose because it's looks really good with this light. I have never had a nem host a clown (I feel weird writing that, but it's the nem that hosts the clown...at least from what I have heard people correcting others lol). Anyways. I have never had a nem host a pair of clowns before, I think this is going to be a really cool addition to the tank

Awesome. Its definitely my favorite interaction in my aquarium. Just dont be surprised it it takes a bit for the clown to associate with the BTA. I have maroons that took 6 months to move into my RBTA

So I shouldn't have just fed them my dinner veggies?

So yesterday in my tank the nem was about medium size. It was bigger in the store. Overnight it got larger and I found Mrs. Red (female tomato) sleeping in it! Turned on the light and Mrs. Red left and the nem got all small. Guessing it is just adjusting to it's new light. It also moved 7 inches over-night in a crevice exactly where I wanted it. We shall see if it stays there. So far so good!

I have 2 pairs of SA Onyx Clowns that I've had for a few months that still haven't shown interest. On the other hand, a pair of Orange and Pink Skunks that love all the anemone's in the aquarium. As previously stated, it may take some time.

My experience has always been when a natural host species of anemone is provided, like a BTA is for a tomato, the fish tend to go in quickly (usually immediately).

The Sustainable Aquatics hatchery is like 20 miles from my house, I got a chance to tour the facilities last month. Very nice fish and well taken care of.
