RC Slow as slow can be!

So is it just me or has RC become like surfing in mud?

Work or home it does not matter. Pages take forever to load now. To the point of being frustrating.

I agree it is very slow, that I thought I had needed to buy a new computer or call comcast that I have a speed problem. I was talking to a reefer from Boston and he was complaining as well. I think RC needs to upgrade a server.

Maybe alot is run through flash? Adobe stopped supporting newer android phones? My comp has been slow or stopping on alot of things......Maybe Adobe related? I'm no comp wizard though.

It's RC's servers.....all other reef forum sites snap up no problem. And it's NOT your computer , I'm running an icore 7 chip with turbo boost, 16 gig ddr3 ram & solid state hard drives, and I still surf other forums while waiting for RC to load a single page.

I've been thinking this for a couple weeks but haven't really seen any mention of it. No matter what I use... office PC, home PC, phone, tablet... it's ridiculously slow, while other sites are just fine!

someone else put a thread up today with reference to how slow it is, i think they need to go back to their old search engine, its like a steam train as opposed to intercity!!!!! at least it gives me time to make a cuppa before the page loads!! post slow reply should be on the button below??

I think they have a Thread up about the performance in another section of the forum. Who knows maybe the owner of the site is tired and wants to get away...
