Would love to go but, a bit to far. Between my granddaughter and medical issues (nothing life threaenting just a pain literally) I'm limited in distance.Not to mention a hubby who loves the tank but really doesn't want to get involvled. Would love to meet ya all! Have fun ya hear!!!!!

I hope you guys can make it Mike and Mal. These conferences are well worth the money spent. Before IMAC folded, I didn't miss a one, even meet Skipper and many others there once. The info and the ability to have a Q & A and often a face to face with many of these book writers is well worth the cost.

I have found with proper advance planning and hunting for the best flights in advance, these trips are very affordable and fun. If I have to fly down to pick you two up, you're going, OK? :wavehand:

+1 on MACNA events being worth every penny. I have only been to one and since it was being hosted by my local club it was close. If you like seeing/meeting amazing speakers and tutorials, geeking out with fellow reef enthusiasts for a whole weekend, seeing amazing corals, and overall having a blast then MACNA is for you.

We will not be making it this year, already have our vacation planned. If you are thinking about it, search around, book early and look for deals. Des Moines is probably not an expensive city (versus say hosting in NYC) so it should be fun. Start saving now though, you will be blown away by the coral selection.
