can anyone help me clear up this mystery? how can i make sure nothing in my tank gets electrocuted (including my arm)? my outlets are not grounded in my home, so traditional ground probes will not do anything...i have read about plug-in residual circuit breakers (rcb), but cannot find one anywhere i search, only the kind that install into the breaker box...do i need to install these? where can i find the plug-in variety? how important is this? any other solutions? any help on this matter will be much appreciated....thanks in advance from a neophyte reefkeeper

Depending on where in the world you are, they may be be more often referred to as GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters), GFI's (Ground Fault Interrupters), or ALCI (Forget what this stands for... Something Leakage Circuit Interrupter?).

Electrical Supply Stores, Home Improvement Stores, and serious Computer Stores may all carry some form of these.

Whereabouts in the world are you? I'm guessing not in the US, if you're calling them RCB's.

MarkPo...thanks a lot...i am in the usa, just had a book that told me to get an "rcb"...no wonder i couldn't find anything about it...i typed in ground fault circuit interrupter and it came right up....much appreciation for the quick reply
