My Stream 6065 runs backward all the time. What am i doing wrong. It espessially happens everytime I clean it.
Flow comes in through outlet and out thru circular carapace.

There are four possibilities.

The propeller is broken- check that the ends have not snapped off.

The front propeller housing is damaged, on the inside of the propeller housing are 4 stop tabs that stop the prop when it goes backwards, if these are broken the pump will spin backwards.

The prop magnet is not able to move up and down on the shaft due to calcium deposits, clean the shaft and make sure the drive unit can freely move up and down.

The drive unit was reassembled upside down so the disk is on top, make sure the disk is at the bottom.

Thanks Roger- Ill check those things out. At the very least i know one of the propeller tips is nicked. Once i take it apart again ill check the housing for the tabs. Where can I get these parts if needed?

The broken prop is the likely culprit, the pump always starts backwards and hits the stops to correct the direction. If the prop is broken it will clear the stops and not stop. Anything except cleaning would be warranty so long as you aren't using a wavemaker, let me know and I can send the part.
