re-aquascaping, TIPS>>>???

Hey guys, lately ive had the itch to reaquascape the tank and am basically looking for DOs and DO NOTs, and any tips you guys might have.

I know to try and not disturb the sand bed as best i can.. but anyone know of somethng i should definitely know about????

Probably a good idea to get a 5G bucket and fill it with salt water to hold rocks while you're moving things around. Make sure everything's secure before you call it a day.

can i really expose nitrates or what not by moving rocks around?? i have had a LFS tell me moving them is detrimental to the tanks health

any truth to that statement?

ive done it loads of times since ive had my tanks and had no problems
