Re-doing 75, with clams growth in mind

Well i'm going to tear down my 75 in the next couple of weeks. Set up with a rock wall across the back right now, but i'm thinking of having rockes off to the roght trailing off to the left a bit, then a rock off at the left side and the rest of the tank open sand. This should leave a good bit of space for my squammie to grow. gone from 2 1/2 inches to about 6 in a year and a half. Also going to add some finer sand with whats already there and add seagrass as well. I'll take some before pics soon, then as it goes, after pics.

Anyone else keeping their clams in a seagrass tank?

There you go skinz, a new thread.

Sounds like an exciting upgrade with the rock wall. I have been reading alot about them lately and wishing that when I upgraded my 75 to my 125 I had a little more time to do one in my 125. But I just swapped all of my rock and critters all in one fowl swoop.

Pictures of the finished product is a must. Do you have before pictures?

i have old pics, but i'm going to take some new ones this week.

i like the discosomas and zoanthids, but they take up way too much space. so i'm replacing very few, giving the rest to friends and setting up the tank with a lot less rock. Going to put everything i'm keeping plus the lights temporarily on a 55 while i tear this thing apart and rebuild, and hopefully at the same time get rid of hair algae. I live on an island and use natural seawater, but now i'm going to use synthetic. I think when i did a water change the algae spores got it. Can't wait to start, but since everything is attached to the rocks i'm going to have to collect mostly new rock.

I have a feeling my dwarf golden angel may not appreciate less rockwork.

this is how most of the tank gets, no room for coral. only keeping the white discs and the reds in the next pic.
