Re stocking

After losing 3 fish to ich, I am starting again with stocking. I waited the 8 week no fish period and want to know if these fish will work
37 gallon 30 pounds live rock hang on back filter and octopus 1000
1 x Valentino puffer
1 x ocellaris clown
1 x flame angel
1 x sand goby
1 x combtooth blenny
Do these work?

The fallow period should be min. 72 days - 8 weeks wouldn't be long enough for the fallow period to ensure ich is out of your tank. I would say no to the flame angel since your tank is only 37 gallons.

Also - if your concerned about getting ich again I would consider implementing quarantining new arrivals before they go into your display tank. If you got new fish today and put them in QT - they would be ready to go to your DT by the time the 72 day fallow period was up.

I agree, it has to be 72 days not 8 weeks. Also I would take the Flame Angel and the Puffer off the list. Might want to think about the TTM and quarantining your fish or you might be going through this issue you over and over.

Definitely will quarantine fish in the future. What fish do you recommend in place of the angel? (That will still be colorful)

+1 to all of the above. Waiting 72 days is a killer, but not waiting the full 72 days increases the chance that the ich has not all died off. Add to the possible fish list:
Flasher Wrasse
Pacific Red Stripe Hog Fish (aka Peppermint Hog)
Azure Damsel (one of the least aggressive Damsels).
