Is anyone using T5's on a 120 or other sized tank and keeping SPS?

Just wanted to get some feedback if you are. I'm planning on setting up a 120 and looking into lighting.

I was thinking of getting the TEK T5 SLS 8x54W fixture.

I have a 120 with the 6 bulb tek lights, no sps though, I was wondering why you wanted the 8 bulb setup, you wont get any more light penetration with it over the 6 bulb, the stuff on the top will do well, but lower in the tank won't really make a difference the price difference was not justifiable in my book, maybe you would be better getting the MH t-5 combo??? I went from 4x96w pc's to the t-5's and I love them.
