hey guys i was replumbing things and thought i'd clean and refill my phosban reactor with new phos guard and as i was tighing metal clamps on it because i dont have the extention kit for it the fittings broke off completely....i first tried weld on to the tubing to the very little amount of fitting that was left but that did no good and then i tried cpvc and glue to it...im not sure if it did a good job at sealing...the other fitting was broke completely off with nothing left so i couldnt do a thing with it....can ya guys help me out...its the phosban 150 but the older one with thumb screws.....again can anyone help me out here asap....my water and rocks are bad enough as is running phosguard and now this,i dont have a back up reactor or anything

Mario,
I thinks someone was selling a few reactors on here recently. I do not think you can fic the broken fittings as ABS is almost impossible to repair. If it is in the sump you might try to feed smaller diameter tubing in through the fittings instead of over them.

good luck,
-bart

thanks bart but it's on the out side of my sump......is the black cover to the reactor abs too or regular plastic and if so wouldnt gluing a bigger size pvc pipe do the trick if i can make it fit tightly?

Nightfire - If I'm reading your post right you broke off the barbed hose connections on top?

My first thought would be to just drill out the old barbed connections all together then go to somewhere like Home Depot and find you a couple hose barbs to replace them. :)
