Hi,
It all really depends on the demands of your tank and the size reactor you are funning, and the amount of cirulation and saturation of co2 inside that unit.
I can tell you that with the larger media you need to run a ph of around 6.3 - 6.5. Typically ARM is going to turn into mush at this point, however if the ARM is in the second chamber you will probably be ok.
