I have spent few thousand dollars on fish the last few weeks or so. I picked up 2 males crosshatches just sunday. The seller said the were eating really good very fat. One of the males look good eating the other looked pretty good but I noticed it was not eating. I started by feeding the same food the seller says he was feeding them. I noticed sunken in eyes on one of the males sign of starvation most of the time this means a fish that has not eaten in a very long time. Can you guys and gals give me your thoughts. here is few pics.

this is the fish that not healthy or eating

Is the eye constantly sunken in every moment, or does it go in and out?

When I had a big Bluejaw, it would yawn and its eyes would go inside its head and then pop back out. The fish was very healthy....

Get it to eat, maybe in another tank or put a divider in....see if it will eat anything at all. I have no clue if the rest of the body looks good. Is his gut sunken in too? How about the skin, any light dusting of powder look?

I'd be stomping back to the LFS to crap all over the owner. Especially after spending the money on a crosshatch to only have it die; shortly there after bringing it home.

yeah, if youspend that much money on a fish the LFS should at least have given you a guarantee for at least a week. Go raise hell.
