Cut it razor blade rubber band to rubble rock. Should attach in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the replies guys. Can I actually cut asking the base? I don't want to kill it. Sorry I've never done this before

If you cut the base it'll grow back..eventually.

Yup, cutting at the base with a razor won't hurt it at all.

Remove the coral from the tank if you can. Cut the stalks you want to remove as close to the rock as possible. Then use a rubber band to attach the cut pieces to smaller rocks (not too tight). Place them all back in the tank. After 2 weeks or so they will attach and you'll have new corals to trade or sell.
