Rearranged the tank today + new goodies

I had my RBTA die a few months ago, and haven't really done much with the tank since, but I got a couple of new things today, and rearranged everything. I like it a lot.

Female leopard wrasse (Macropharyngodon bipartitus).

Thanks...no real reason behind the loc-line length...just thought it was about right.

No fuge. Just a DIY ER style skimmer.

Jiggz - Thanks.

Dave - My new wrasse sure is active. Not darting around, just actively swimming through every nook and cranny in the tank. Checking everything out. She ate flake food tonight.

hey Richard,,
i really like your wrasse........... oh, and your blastos...and your leathers...and, well it all looks great!!!

is that manderin in the clown tank also, or your 90??? does it eat prepared or live foods? it's beautiful!

Everything in the pictures above is in the 45 gallon clown tank.
The mandarin eats frozen brine, mysis, and even flake food, and pellets.

was he eating prepared foods when you got him or did you get him on them yourself? if so, was it hard to do?

i'd like to get one for my 75 but i'm affraid to get one that's not already eating prepared stuff...

thanks

well, this was in the display tank at Kermit's...so Dave already had her acclimated to aquarium life, eating prepared foods, etc. before I got her.

Let me warn you - these are expensive little fishies that don't ship well. Getting one as healthy as this one is going to be hard to find. Well worth every penny to me, but expensive nonetheless.

Lisa - I guess I was confused... we were talking about the mandarin, not the wrasse.

The mandarin was from RDU, and it was eating frozen brine in the store before I bought it.

The above info was about the wrasse.

fishface3 - Thanks.

NP Richard --

i kinda jumped from one fish to the other. :)

you are right, it was the manderin's eating habits i was wondering about.. i'd like to get one for my 75 but i'd want to be sure he ate frozen/prepared stuff first

thanks
