i was woundering if this would be ok 2 do or will it cause a big ammonia spike:(

my tank has been running for 7 months now.

please get bck 2 me asap.

You shouldn't have any die off on your rocks to cause any ammonia. :) Go ahead and move your rock around. Have some water for a change ready because you are sure to kick up some crud and will want to clear that up.

I like the two island look. One being higher then the other. Perhaps one being closer to the front of the tank too for a feeling of more depth. That's just my taste though. :)

There is a big thread in the Reef Discussion forum about all kinds of aquascaping. You might want to look that one up for more ideas too.

Aquascaping is 90% of the fun, and work, when setting up the tank. You need to go with what you like and what looks good to you.

Just realize you may never be truly satisfied with the way you set it up. Or, you can find an awesome deal on another large amount of live rock with coral attached and have to rearrange the entire tank to fit it all in. This happened to me 2 weeks ago and I ended up having to take 30 lbs of very well established live rock to the LFS because I could not find any good way to make it work with the new aquascape.

Good luck and have a good time with it.
