Reccomendations Kalkwasser addition

I have been advised to add kalkwasser nightly to my 200 gallon reef tank (plus 50 gallon sump)each evening via dose pump. My calcium stays between 450-500 with routine water changes. Is it possible to easy over saturate and how do you determine amounts to administer on a daily basis. I have several clams, but not a lot of hard corals in the tank. Can anyone give me some basic guidelines or recommendations

What is your alkalinity and pH. If everything is balanced with your water changes and there is not alot of uptake I would see the need for the addition of kalkwasser. Do you know if there is a large pH drop when the morning comes? That would be one of the reasons for adding the kalk at night.
