Recent additions to my nano

Nice pieces, great pictures and very healthy corals. I've got one question, How did you get the Duncan to grow such long stems?

Digging that torch and nem. Wish I had talent to take pictures like that. +1 on the lighting question. Gorgeous additions and amazing photography!

Since they are recent additions, I doubt the OP would know why his duncans have long stems. Maybe someone who has grown duncans with long stems can chime in.

Seen them come in like that, but once fragged at a store, they grow a bit more tight and colonial in our tanks versus the long stem look.

Hi all,

Sorry been away with work.. Erm ok brief spec (really should start a build thread on here) :)

Aquanano 60
Maxspect Razor 120w
Tunze 9001 skimmer
Pair of Jebao WP10, twin controller, W1, 0.25 second delay
Aquatronica, full setup
Rena XP2 external filter (soon to be removed as i have a refugium coming in the week)
Bit of floss
Bit of carbon
Weekly 25% changes with kent reef salt
Adding alkalin 8.3 as mu KH gets hit a bit.

Changing lighting this week, got an ecolamps KRV5 coming (cant wait)...

Yeah duncans, bought the colony as is. not seen such long stems before but they glow a gorgeous green colour and are filling in a nice gap in the middle of the display. Got tons more to do, this is a recent recovery as i lost most of my acans to an aussie parasite.

BTW loving this site guys.

Cheers,

FTS oh and got shot of the nem... It walked and i love my acans too much ;)

Excuse acans, having a little sulk today!

Cheers,
