Recent fish death has hit my anemones

About seven months ago my Green Wolf Eel retreated back into the rocks. I had added a Foxface and the GWE whole personality changed 180 degrees - from an active swimming fish to a total 100% rock hider. Sometimes days and days would pass and I couldn't find her. I assumed she was dead several times only to see her later. I assumed she was dying several times but after seven months I didn't know what to think. I would shoot a silverside back there with a turkey baster every now and then.

Well, it finally happened. :( Because she was hiding, I didn't notice at first but then the tank smelled funny and I saw a little evidence.

My two BTAs are now retracted quite a bit. No gaping mouths, but they are very compressed. The first day I was nearly out of salt and it was late at night. I could only do a five gallon water change and I adjusted the skimmer to heavy - removing a half gallon or so of nasty skimmate. Yesterday I got more salt and did 10 gallons. They already looked quite a bit better. My RO/DI unit is slow so just doing 10 gallons took me a while.

I had no idea they would be that sensitive. It's a 75 gallon with 150 lbs of live rock. I thought a single fish death would pretty much go unnoticed. I was wrong.
