Recommend a calcium reactor system please.

Ok, I want to add a calcium reactor, but I really want the smallest, simplest, cheapest system I can buy that would not be a waste of money to procure. I need both a reactor and a CO2 system. Thanks for the help.

reactors arent cheap, thats the issue. just the co2 equipment will set you back a few hundred dollars. At that point, you might as well buy a quality reactor to go with it. I had a korallin, and i really liked it. I got it used for a great price, but i always had to dick with it. When i get another, i am getting a GEO or something similar. A fellow reefer had that unit and said it was really plug and play. To get a reactor dialed in it really helps to have a co2 controller, which just adds to the cost. I wish i could advise you on a system that worked will for less then $500. With all the bare bones gear (tank, reg, solinoid, and controller) your already in for $300 without the reactor.

Thanks, I guess I'm not doing a good job of asking what I'm looking for. I'm not asking if someone knows where I can get a whole system for $50... I'm trying to find out what is the least expensive complete system that I can buy that will work respectably. If thats $500, tell me which it is so I can get a look at it. I don't want to spend more than I have to, but I also don't like to buy something cheaper than I should.

I don't yet know what makes one reactor better than another, what co2 system will require the least maintenance and space, etc. and need feedback on all the things I still need to know.

get a geo. best bang for the bulk. I would also check the sell forum on here to. people are always unloading geo reactors for decent prices. I use the geo 618 on my 110. It keeps up with no problem. I also used the same reactor on my 300 gallon reef with no problems either. As for the co2 tank and reg, I might have an extra one. pm me if interested.
