I've had a mystery wrasse which was awesome and had the best colors in my opinion but it ended up carpet surfing. I would also recommend a leopard wrasse too. I'll probably purchase a Red tail tamarin soon once I get over my choati wrasse disappearing.

McCosker's Flasher Wrasse are beautiful and active. Plus would stay relatively small which would work great for your tank size.

Possum wrasses like tanaka's and yellow banded are very cool fish. As peaceful as fish get. Smaller than the other wrasses if you're worried about bioload.

+1 for possum wrasse, they have so much personality, peaceful, and stays small makes them ideal for small reef like yours. one caveat they have small mouth so they don't always eat larger food offered. In fact my possum wrasse doesn't eat my feeding at all- it lives in a seahorse tank with a ton of pods.

My yellow banded possum eats everything, pellets, frozen brine & mysis, live black worms, he slurps them up like spaghetti. Really awesome fish. Couldn't recommend them more. He is constantly moving all over the tank, up, down, in and out of rocks, and never bothers anyone.

Vivid has small females for $45 and small males for $50
