Recommend some easy to keep LPS

How, may I ask, is his setup a "lower light" setup? 130watts of PC lighting over a 20 gallon, ESPECIALLY a 20 long, is a crap ton of light.

Let's see... I think a 20 gallon could be either a 12 or 18 inch deep tank. He'd be able to keep Mushrooms, Zoos, and some LPS's. Most SPS's aren't going to happen though.

Don't get me wrong. I had 130w of PC lighting on my 29 gallon for 2 years with LPS's. They survived, but with no growth, and no display of color like my 130w 14K MH bulb gives me now.

For example, my one closed brain under PC lighting used to be all green. Now under MH's it is purple and green, plus so much more vibrant.

That's why the "lower light" was in quotes. It is "do-able", but not if you would like to see the full impact of your corals...

I agree with Killagoby. 130 w is not allot of light. I am running 410 w on my 29 gallon reef. The corals may look good to the owner under 130 w of light but that is only untill they upgrade the lights and see their true potential.

What kind of lights are you running? What do you have for your set up? Send pics if you can... Thank you!

I have 130W PC on my 10G nano with a frogspawn on the bottom, it's doing great, good greens and purples, though they would probably improve with MH lighting. I feed occasionally.
