Recommendation for 150g

Looking for an upgrade from my aquac ev skimmer on my 150g, which model tunze? 150g display 55g sump

Yes, I think it will be a good skimmer for that size set up, if you want to further boost the performance you can add a 9020.140 foam extractor in place of the cup.

It works on the 9410, and exactly how does it make it run better?

On our skimmers the cup is also the reaction chamber for the foam, you add about 4" to the reaction chamber and can open the air further using the full potential of the pump.

Ok, I run the sump@ 9"

You'll likely want to raise the skimmer up in the sump. I am able to run the air much wider open with the pump in ~6" of water.

went with the 9420, installed, already pulling skimmate.. now to address my flow issues(only a wavebox and a 6065 on the tank)
