Recommendation for 6th t5 bulb

Hello everybody.

I have a 48 in, 6 bulb Hamilton T5 fixture over my 120 softie/lps tank. I'm only using 5 bulbs currently, they are all ATI (1 coral+, 3 blue+, 1 true acitinic). I'm not sure what I should use for my 6th bulb. As I mentioned, this is going to be a predominantly softie/lps tank so I don't need a ton of par. But I do want to support decent growth nonetheless. The tank is definitely on the blue side currently, which I don't mind. What do you guys think?

What bulb you add is dependent completely on how you want the color of the corals perceived.

I would add a purple to balance the blue green of the the three blue plus. If you are going for a deeper look than I would add another actinic. All IMO.

Totally agree with the purple. I will also replace a B+ for a C+ if you want the look a litlle more daylight.

When I had mines ATI, I used 4 blue+, 1 coral+, and 1 purple+

In my 6 bulb setup I'm using 3 blue+, 1 coral+, 1 purple+, and 1 actinic.

What a great thing that ATI has going for it. Imagine the "extra" money spent on different bulbs until we find the combination we like.

I, personally, have aboutn 8 extra bulbs for my 8 bulb set up.
