Recommendations for a second smaller tank

I'd like to get a smaller, probably rimless but not a requirement, with overflows, sump, and stand that will fit in a roughly 3' x 2' space. It can be smaller than that. Currently considering biocube 29, nanocube 28, Red Sea 170 Kit Reefer and the SC Aquariums center overflow rimless tanks available on amazon.com. Thoughts? Experiences?

Just picked up an innovative marine 40 gallon, size fits your requirement and you will save a lot of money over the red Sea. Does have a lid as well but is recessed so it "looks" rimless.

The reefer 250 also would fit that footprint, I picked one up last black friday for an amazing price (they aren't MAP pricing) from a LFS and they really do look quite sleek, but the 170 would also do quite well.

I have an SCA 50 cube, 24x24 foot print and love it, you could get the SC 80 and still fit in your foot print.

If I were you, I would call Steve at SCA and see if he could put a package deal together for you. I was able to get a Radion XR15wPro, MP10wQD, ReefLink, RMS light mount, tank, stand, sump, return pump, skimmer and plumbing for $1400ish shipped.

Lol well the long term plan is a custom tank in the next house in the 750-1500 gallon range but that's gotta wait for now

I know how ya feel. I 'knew' exactly where my 350 was going 2 weeks after I got in the hobby, but had to wait until one came along at a reasonable price. I wish I were in the stage of my life where my next house would be be larger rather than smaller. 750 - 1000 would be fun.
