This might have to be my new heater. Depends on price and availability when I need one. Finnex titanium is my first choice right nowThere is a new Eheim heater out, named "Eheim Preset". Eheim heaters are excellent, the previous model, the jager is a very popular one.

My understanding from speaking to someone who has more info is that being preset, they will attain more consistency across units, which is a problem with all heaters, and also did a better job sealing the heating element/electronics from water(other issue the jager had problems).
If this is true, it will be an excellent heater. The 200w unit heats up a good 100 gals which is a great volume/watt.
I have several of the preset heaters. The issues I have observed are:
1. Using the NIST thermometer I determined that the heater preset at 78 degrees was actually only warming the water to 76.5
2. What if I want the water warmer than the heater is preset to?
