Recommended back-up...

Hi,
Two questions:

I just bought a 6000 stream used and the sliding piece that has the hinge to attach the pump to the magnet was given away on accident to someone else who bought a magnet. :( Is it possible to get another one of those pieces so I can attach it to the Tunze magnet I bought?

Also, what parts do you recommend having as a back-up so the streams are not down for too long for maintenance?

Thank you for your time!

Hi bkwudzjeep,

This part is available its called Turbelle holder part number 6200.255 you can order through a Tunze a dealer or Tunze.com

i would suggest having an propellor assembly on hand this is the only moving part so the most likely to wear part number 6100.700

Regards
Graeme

I think you actually need part 6080.23. I agree though that a spare 6100.70 is a good idea.

Thank you for your help guys!

I could not find part number 6200.255.....but it looks like it would be 6080.230. What is the difference between 6200.230 and 6080.230? Would the screw make it more sturdy or not really make that much difference?

What is the difference between 6100.600 and 6100.70 for the impeller? I see that one is one piece and the other seems to have more parts, so I'm sure less maintenance is a plus......is there any other difference?

6100.70 is lower maintanence but maybe more noisy in older pumps (3+ years old), otherwise get the 6100.70. The 6200.23 includes a screw, it is more secure.
