recommended skimmer ???

my tank is 150gal . looking to buy the BEST hang on skimmer. I want something with little noise and NO micro bubbles. what do you recommend?

Wow! A hang-on proteib skimmer for a 150gal... That would be interesting to see.

Tagging along thread to hear solution.

I am thinking DIY. Main problem is the inlet input venturi water pump that would need to sit in your tank. That would be maybe 6in by 6in minimum footprint.

Super Reef Octopus LX1000s Hang-on Protein Skimmer rated for 100 gal so it should works for your set up. Your rock work probably takes up 50 gal already so your overall volume is probably 100 gal.

I didn't see that one, wow pretty. The octopus pump is very efficient too.
