does anybody or has anybody used a quick connect with the metal sleeve in it for your tank. i have some red and black quick connects that i was thinking of using but theres a little metal sleeve in there past the piece that holds the hose in. if i were to put the hose into the quick connect it would pass by the metal piece. just wondering if anyone has any experience with these.

never used any like that but the metal scares me. especially if you dont know what kind it is

Is it stainless steel? If it's 316s.s. yer good....if not, don't use it.
