Red/Blue 180 Stocking Suggestions

Hi all, I'm looking for some reef-safe stocking suggestions for my 180. I keep shrimp/corals and want to maintain as peaceful a community as possible. Im currently looking for something blue and/or something red. Here's what I currently have:

  1. Magnificent Fox Face
  2. Yellow Tang (kind of a deformed peaceful one)
  3. Mystery Wrasse
  4. Yellow Wrasse
  5. Longnose Hawkfish
  6. Diamond Goby
  7. Matted Filefish

Those 2 wrasses may or may not be a danger to the shrimp as they mature.

Nah, I've had a few mystery wrasses and never had one touch a shrimp. Might be that I don't push them to the edge of starvation, but I'm confident it's not an issue.

Same really with the yellow coris, I can't believe they are listed as not reef safe on many websites. I've had two that are the definition of a model fish. They seem safer than the mystery wrasses really.

You're right.

Longnose hawkfish? Shrimp is bye bye!

Maybe some Blue Throat Triggers? Got a male/female in my tank. They are friends with cleaner/peppermint shrimp.

Interesting, I was thinking of the Blue zthroat or the Sargassum. How blue is the blue throat? A lot of the pictures seem a little washed out but they might not do it justice. Also, do you keep any tangs in there with it?

Yeah my tank is over stocked by Reefcentral's standards but I still manage to keep 0 nitrate even with high feedings and a high bio load..

I have them with a naso, 2 yellows, 1 purple, & 2 yellow belly regals

Their pretty cool fish. When I get home I can snap a shot, the female is like a dog and begs me for food. She will eat from my hand too. The male is a little more skittish but I think its just their individual personalities.

The male Trigger eats Nori too, he was just swimming around in this clip.
