red,blue,yellow carpets

is it true that besides green carpet anemones, all other colors are dyed by people? and that the dye will utimately kill them in the end?

There are blues, if its in a tank near you th just wait and if its died it will expell it, fish can't do this but cnidarians can.

How on earth do they dye fish or annemones?Is it something that you feed em? If so, why would the animal eat it? What do they use? RIT fish dye?
