Does anyone know where to get this kind of macro algae other than the 2 websites i found it on? Does anyone know what it's name is?

Almost looks too substantial to be Scianaia. Then again, I have never been completely sure of the identity of the macroalgae I had that seemed to be Scianaia. Reds are kind of an ID pain.

At first glance I thought Amphiroa for this photo, but that genus is full of highly calcerous macros. I believe it falls within the coralline algaes in fact.

I'm really not sure what to call this algae. It sure is pretty though. ;)

Looks like its headed towards that type of growth pattern, with the sort of knobby ends. That one I still have never seen from a photo of any other algae. It looks like it belongs to the Halymeniales to me but doesnt really fit into anything I can see.

I wish I knew more about ID from microscope slides and structures. Then again, I might never get any "real" work done if I were happily identifying macroalgae from microscope field views. :p

Haha, I am not sure what it is called but I can get some for you, and it sucks that there aren't that many good macro algae stores. Well, I am building my collection and hopefully I can start a little website soon to share my love of the Macroalgae. Graveyardworm, I've got that but I don't think it is the same because I ahev seen both strains and they are very similar but the density of growth and the coloration make me believe that they are actually different species, but I am not sure. Identifying macroalgae can be really hard.
