Red bubble tip Anemone problem

Hi there,
I am new to this hobby. I have a question regarding my RBTA: is my Anemone splitting out its zooxanthellae? I got this guy about two weeks ago, it has been acclimated very well in my tank until ten 30 minutes ago when I saw there was something around it. See the first two pics, the last pic was taken when it was opening up usually.
I run ATI sunpower 6 bulbs fixture but I only max run 4 bulbs leg 8 hours and 2 bulb leg 2 hours, totally 10 hour a day. Am I bleaching it? Do I have to reduce light time? I only have a couple of LPS and fishes in my tank.

Thanks
Michael

None of your pictures are showing. Also there is a forum here called Clownfish and Anemones this should be posted in that forum for better replies.

Also a couple of questions. What exactly are your water parameters, and how long as your tank been setup?

I will click the little red triangle that appears to the left side of the page and under your profile info and request this gets moved to the clownfish and anemone forum.

I had the mods move it for you.

Now the pictures are showing up. A couple of questions. How old is your tank and what are your water parameters?

Hi DK,
Today my RBTA was opening up normally as usual, so I would suppose it was joking with me yesterday or it was doing a hiccup or poo. See attached picture. It was really happy when I was back home from work.
My tank is really new it has been only for two months. I did my last water test on Sunday every items seemed good except KH was little lower said 8. I will do another water test tomorrow when I have a moment.
I only have a frogspawn, a long tentacle plate, a starburst, a zoas, and an elegance coral in my tank, with a powder blue tang, a yellow tank, a cleaner shrimp, and a cute pair of common clownfish.
I do have another problem with my elegance coral as I know I have it bleached out as I was running my 6 bulbs max 10 hours plus 3 more hours 2 bulbs or 4 bulbs before. I realized I made a mistake and now I have cut down the light time two 8 hours 4bulbs plus 2hours2 bulbs a day since last Thursday. And I also moved EC under a shadow/screen. I hope what I have done can recover my EC back.
LTP was bleached as well but still good. Frogspawn and star burst are in supper good health, don't know why they were not bleach as they are always at top of my tank.
My tank is 75 gallon. 48L 20W20H. Sump is 40 gallon.

Looks like poop, that's what my RBTA looks like a day or two after I feed him. Usually reinflates within a couple of hours. Irritating part is how vibrant his colors are when he deflates, just like your first pick.

I run ATI 8 bulb + 2 reefbrites xho maxed out during the day for 10 hours.. trust me, these BTAs can handle lighting! 1 of mine is at the very top of the tank too.

being so new, it may be expelling some zoo. It could also be poo like the previous person said. as long as it doesn't expel daily, you are fine!

yes. my RBTA open up as usual. I would assume everything is as expected. I will keep monitor. thank you for your input.

Hi Monkie,
I agree with you that any Anemone or LPS could run directly under 8 bulbs even MH without any problem. but it could take longer time for them to be familiar with the light eventually from their original lighting environment. many creature should be able to adjust themselves to be acclimated with new environment step by step a little bit by a little bit. they could just need more time and the change should not be too big in a short time period. Unfortunately my elegance coral was not so lucky, I must have bleached he out as we can see from the picture I posted in previous post.
My RBTA could probably expel both zoo and poo, anyway he does well as of now, I am happy with that. and thank you for your advise.
