Lots of people seem to get great results with Bayer advanced insect killer used as a dipping method. Unfortunately It's not available in Canada do to the active ingredient Imidacloprid being banned here.

I thought this might be of use for finding alternatives. It's a 254 page list of pesticide products and their active ingredients.

What have people had success with?

you can simply try

tropic marin pro coral cure. it seems and smells, too, like somewhat iodine medicine. it killed a full spectrum of pests and i killed red bugs, acro eatin nudi's, bad crabs, etc.

only bad part is you can't treat the entire tank

I'm glad I put in the effort to build a proper coral QT. I haven't begun to stock my display with acro's yet but I'm just discovering how common these nasty pests are.

Do any of these treatments actually rid the eggs or does that require isolation to a QT and repeated dipping?

There is nothing available that kills the eggs. Unfortunately there is a lot of miss information out there so if anyone tells you that a product will kill eggs just do not fall for it

I have the bayer here now, simply bought it online and shipped it to my US address.

Have not tried it yet, just arrived Friday

i have no idea about eggs. but i guess the cure can't kill eggs either

the instruction asks you to redip infested corals in 15 days and i guess this action is designed only to kill the newbies hatched from the leftover eggs
