Thanks

Just treated last weekend. No bugs so far. Urchin, cleaner shrimp survived. As did many bristleworms and pods.

I treated my tank with Interceptor at the suggested dosage three time, i have no bugs now for four weeks :D :celeb3: :celeb2: :celeb3: :celeb3: :celeb3:

If anyone answers that their tank still has bugs, please post a message on this thread. I am sure that most of us would like to hear and learn more about your sitution.

I won't vote, as I have not had to treat my tank, however I will state that I have received many bug infested frags, and done a prophylactic 8 hour "in bag" treatment on some, as well as a 2 week 3 dose hospital tank treatment on others, and have yet to see a red bug in my tank.

This is the best thing I've done to my tank other than by it. :) Worked as perscribed.
Second best thing I did was set up a QT tank. No more unsafe trading!
I finished my treatments in May, and polyp extention is back, and who new that brown acro was pink and lavender. :)

I treated twice and have not had a re-occurance since (a few months now). Even if I did, it would be hard to know the cause as I've added quick a few new acros - I always quarantine with Interceptor first.

I did (am) experience a tank cycle with cyno groth that started a week or so after dosing. I think it was the massive die off in my 175 gal refugium that caused it (full of pods and mysis). I'm still fighting that cycle today, but things are definitely improving.

Even with the cycle, I think it was well worth it.

Originally I treated the tank twice and they reappeared/noticed at two weeks after the second treatment.

I retreated the tank again but with the recomended 3 doses and haven't seen any bugs in 4 weeks.

I could only vote once so I chose the 3 treatment option.

The only problem I seemed to encounter was after the 2 treatment(1st time). Due to the large water change some of the corals reacted negitively. This was why I left it at the two treatments. The second time around I only did 10% water changes after each dose. This seemed to work better for me.

It would be nice to have a one time dip we could use one new stock that didn't reqiure the 3 week treatment.

Hey Dustin Thanks again , we know it works ;)

I also treated just once, then noticed bugs a few weeks later. I then treated the 3 times and have not seen a bug since.
I can see them, however, on 4 new colonies I just brought home. I'm trying a 12 hour dip at something larger than recommended dosage.

Treated at the correct dosage, but only two times. No bugs to be found since the first treatment in Feb.

I first only treated twice, no red bugs could be found. I decided to treat a 3rd time after two weeks of my second treatment.

I noticed no red bugs on any corals, but I did notice a tiny amount of them slime off of some Halmeda Algae in only one spot.

2 treatments

2 treatments

2 treatments ..no bugs and great coral growth. I will do a 3rd just to be safe. All new corals get treated before entering tank.

Did one dose, had a guy weigh it for me, after the dose every thing looked great I did not loose any shrimp only a couple of hermits I have lots of acro crabs and they where all fine, at the beginning they did show signs of stress. I was little bit concerned about the shrimp and crabs not dieing I figured I estimated the total water volume wrong so the dose was not strong enough. I decided not to do the 2nd and 3rd doses, a week ago I noticed the bugs where back, nothing like before though. I am going o do another dose in a week or so.
